Ki Pro Ultra lets you record edit-friendly 4K, Ultra HD, 2K, or HD Apple ProRes® files directly to removable AJA Pak SSD Media. Once removed from the Ki Pro Ultra, the Pak can be inserted in the AJA Pak Dock which connects directly to your computer via Thunderbolt™ or USB3, allowing you to rapidly transfer Apple ProRes® files that are ready for use immediately in your non-linear editing system.

Pak Media

Ki Pro Ultra captures directly to rugged and reliable AJA Pak SSD media. Pak media is available in a variety of capacities to best suit the demands of your production. Pak1000 is the perfect companion for Ki Pro Ultra offering 1TB of fast SSD media for up to 4K recording at 60p in Apple ProRes® HQ. Ki Pro Ultra also offers compatibility with Pak512 and Pak256 media, ideal for lower frame rate projects.



Pak-Adapt-eSATA

Pak-Adapt-eSATA is a Pak Media sized adaptor with an eSATA connector that allows you to attach a qualified RAID or single volume storage via an eSATA cable, so that it may be used as a recordable drive.


Pak-Adapt-eSATA can be utilized with Ki Pro Ultra. You can even connect two Pak-Adapt-eSATA to the Ki Pro Ultra for even more flexibility in the field.


eSATA connectivity provides the bandwidth needed for 4K 422 HQ at up to 30fps.



Pak-Adapt-CFast

Pak-Adapt-CFast allows you to use CFast media with Ki Pro Ultra. Simply insert the CFast card and once the green LED is lit, your media is mounted and can be formatted. You’re then able to record direct to your media. Pak-Adapt-CFast requires qualified media to ensure you get the best results. You can even mix and match AJA Pak media side by side with Pak-Adapt-CFast if needed. Although most types of CFast media will mount, only qualified media will provide proven performance.



KPU-Shelf

Ki Pro Ultra features a small footprint for desktop use or can be mounted side-by- side using the additional KPU-Shelf for rack mount applications.



Optional 2nd KPU-Power-Supply

Ki Pro Ultra offers dual power inputs which allows power redundancy support in the field. Simply connect two power supplies and should one source fail, the other automatically provides power.




Fiber Connectivity

Ki Pro Ultra’s fully integrated fiber inputs and outputs means Ki Pro Ultra can be integrated directly to a dedicated fiber network alongside many other fiber products. Fiber allows outgoing and incoming video signals to be transmited as far as 10km away.
